An arid world, Belderone, orginally Vartholium during the reign of Xim’s empire, remained neutral until the Galactic Republic annexed the planet following the New Sith Wars. Separatist forces were unsuccessful at capturing the planet during the Clone Wars, and Belderone would eventually become an Imperial manufacturing center and sector capital during the Galactic Civil War. The Yuuzhan Vong would later enslave the planet during their war.
Kulthis was also colonized some time prior to the Clone Wars, though remained neutral until the Galactic Civil War when it allied with the Rebel Alliance, housing a Rebel base. Kulthis eventually became a New Republic world and escaped the devastation of the Yuuzhan Vong war incurred upon its neighbor, Belderone.

Dandrian was a minor world in the region, covered by oceans and landscaped with marshes and tropical grasslands. Following the New Sith Wars, Republic forces helped quell unrest in the system, though the planet never formally joined the Republic. During the Galactic Civil War, asteroids of Dandrian’s Ring were occupied by Imperial forces and utilized as a top-security prison.
