Though often the butt of jokes in the mainstream pop culture press, the Holiday Special (for all its issues) is a beloved and early contribution to the mighty Expanded Universe. And now, a special fan site devoted to all things Holiday Special has gotten a makeover just in time for the special's 40th anniversary (has it really been THAT long?!)
StarWarsHolidaySpecial.com covers the story, the characters, the crew that produced the show, and highlights the special's cartoon segment that famously included the first appearance of Boba Fett.
For nostalgia's sake, the new site still has links to the previous version of the site (where the image above comes from), which is almost as fun to view again as the Holiday Special itself.
